About Us

Cory “Sauce” Brown is the CEO/Founder and Head Basketball Trainer of the “Sauce Basketball Academy.” Reigning from the United States, but adopted Sydney as home, he lives and breathes the Australian way now. As a former 14-year professional Basketball player, he has been seen and affiliated with the NBA G-League, FIBA Basketball 5v5 and 3v3 circuit all over the world in different countries, and the Streetball & Entertainment professional circuit as well. After retirement, he knew there was a demand to help teach the next generation the RIGHT way of the game. Cory “Sauce” Brown’s motto states, “Everyday is a day to be better than who you were yesterday!” Not only will the kids and people that come to him get Basketball skills, but will also get life skills and mentorship so that there is a trickling effect of prosperous outcomes on and off the court. With a Masters degree in Sports Management & Administration, and accreditations in different coaching styles, Cory “Sauce” Brown stresses the importance of doing it and learning the professional way. Cory loves meeting people of all demographics and backgrounds and wants to bless everyone that comes his way!
